Emergency Warning Signs

Identify if your cat needs urgent care

🚨 If your cat is having a medical emergency, call your vet or emergency clinic immediately!

This tool helps identify warning signs but is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary care.

Check all warning signs your cat is currently showing:

😮‍💨 Difficulty breathing - Open-mouth breathing, gasping, wheezing
💫 Collapsed or unresponsive - Cannot stand, unconscious, or very weak
🍽️ Not eating for 24+ hours - Refusing all food and water
🩸 Severe bleeding - Uncontrolled bleeding from wound or body
Seizure - Convulsions, uncontrolled shaking, loss of consciousness
😰 Straining to urinate - Especially in male cats, can be life-threatening
☠️ Suspected poisoning - Ingestion of toxins, plants, chemicals, or medications
🤕 Trauma - Hit by car, fall from height, fight wounds, broken bones
😿 Swollen abdomen - Distended belly with vomiting or distress
👁️ Eye emergency - Eye injury, sudden blindness, eye bulging out
